Oi Celebrates March with Milestones and Recognition as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies for 2020

Los Angeles – March 12, 2020 – Organic Initiative (Oi), the Kiwi company leading the charge to help save the environment by taking plastics, synthetics and toxins out of menstrual care products globally, is celebrating March by noting several key milestones and by being named one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies for 2020.

The Fast Company list honors the businesses making the most profound impact on both industry and culture, showcasing a variety of ways to thrive in today’s fast-changing world. This year’s MIC list features 434 businesses from 39 countries. Founded in New Zealand in 2015, Oi came in at #4 in the Asia Pacific Category.


On a mission to take plastic out of hygiene products, starting with period products, Oi offers certified organic tampons and pads made only with pure, 100% certified organic cotton and a form-fitting zero-waste Oi Cup.


Other accomplishments noted this month by Oi was the celebration of its first full-year in Walmart and H-E-B stores nationally, followed by CVS and other major national and regional retailers. In one year, Oi has grown its availability from 500 stores on the West Coast to more than 10,000 stores nationally. Oi has several additional new product and innovation announcements to be made in the coming months.
